To all parents and guardians using the Hoplin Preschool application, thank you for being part of our community! We built this platform to help you stay closely connected with your child’s daily activities, milestones, and early learning journey. To ensure a safe, secure, and helpful environment for all families and staff, we have established the following Terms and Conditions.
Interpretation
Words with their initial letter capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural form.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- “Hoplin Preschool” (the Company) refers to the preschool/daycare institution and the provider of the software/application services designed to connect parents and guardians with our staff and teachers to manage operational activities and early childhood learning.
- “Application” means the software program provided by Hoplin Preschool and downloaded by You on any electronic device, serving as the parent portal.
- “Application Store” means the digital distribution service operated and developed by Apple Inc. (Apple App Store) or Google Inc. (Google Play Store) from which the Application has been downloaded.
- “Account” means a unique account created for You to access the Hoplin Preschool Platform services to view your child’s updates, communicate with teachers, and manage administrative tasks.
- “Country” refers to: The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
- “Content” refers to content such as text, images, photos, videos, or other information that can be posted, uploaded, linked to, or otherwise made available by You or the school staff, regardless of the form of that content.
- “Service” refers to the parent portal and communication services provided on the Hoplin Preschool platform.
- “You” means the parent, legal guardian, or authorized family member accessing or using the Service on behalf of an enrolled child.
Acknowledgment
These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this parent Application and the agreement that operates between You and Hoplin Preschool. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all families regarding the use of the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part of these Terms, You may not access the Service.
You represent that You are over the age of 18 and are the legal parent or authorized guardian of a child enrolled at Hoplin Preschool.
Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of Hoplin Preschool. Our Privacy Policy describes Our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your and your child’s personal information. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully before using Our Service.
You are prohibited from damaging, disabling, or impairing any aspect of the Platform, Services, or related systems and networks.

1. Parent Accounts
When You create an account with Hoplin Preschool, You must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service. Because the Application contains sensitive information and photos of your child, You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Hoplin Preschool immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your account.
You are responsible for all content that will be posted and all activities that occur under your account, including direct messages sent to teachers and school administrators.
2. Content and Child Privacy
a. Your Right to Post Content
Our Service allows You to post Content (e.g., profile pictures, messages to teachers, medical notes). You are responsible for the Content that You post to the Service, including its reliability and appropriateness.
By posting Content, You grant Hoplin Preschool the right to use it solely for the purpose of providing educational and administrative services to your family.
b. Child Privacy and Media Sharing Restrictions
As a parent application, the Service may feature photos, videos, and updates involving your child and their classmates. You agree to respect the privacy of other children. You are strictly prohibited from downloading, taking screenshots of, or sharing media that includes other children on public social media platforms or with unauthorized third parties without the explicit, written consent of those children’s parents.
c. Content Restrictions
You may not transmit any Content that is unlawful, offensive, threatening, or defamatory. Examples of objectionable Content include, but are not limited to:
- Defamatory or mean-spirited content, including inappropriate comments directed at teachers, staff, or other parents.
- Spam or unauthorized advertising.
- False information regarding your child’s health or attendance.
Hoplin Preschool reserves the right to determine whether Content is appropriate and to refuse or remove Content that violates these terms.
3. Payments and School Fees
The Application itself is provided to enrolled families as part of our educational service. We will not ask you to pay a software subscription fee to download or use the app.
However, the Application includes features that allow you to pay for school-related expenses, such as tuition, enrollment fees, extracurricular programs, or daycare services.
All fees are exclusive of all applicable taxes. Payments can be made securely through the payment methods integrated into the Hoplin Preschool Platform, which include options like Virtual Accounts and Credit Cards. All payments made for school fees are subject to Hoplin Preschool’s official refund and financial policies.
4. Processing Payments
By making a payment for school services through the Application, You warrant that You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and authorized to use the chosen payment method.
a. Your Information
If You wish to make a payment, You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your transaction, including your name, email, phone number, and Virtual Account or Credit Card details. By submitting such information, You grant us the right to provide the information to our payment processing partners for purposes of facilitating your transaction.
b. Payment Disputes
If you believe there is an error in your billing or a duplicate charge on your Virtual Account or Credit Card, please contact the school’s administration office directly so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
5. Features and Bugs
We design our Services carefully to provide a smooth experience for our parents. However, we do not guarantee that our Services will meet every specific requirement. As with any software, the Application may occasionally experience bugs or downtime. We track reported bugs and prioritize fixes, especially those related to data security and child privacy.
6. Your Feedback
You assign all rights, title, and interest in any Feedback You provide to Hoplin Preschool regarding the app’s functionality. We welcome your suggestions to make the parent portal better for our community.
7. Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or educational resources not owned by Hoplin Preschool. We have no control over the content or privacy policies of any third-party web sites and strongly advise You to read their terms before use.
8. Account Termination (Graduation/Withdrawal)
Your account is tied to your child’s active enrollment at Hoplin Preschool.
- Graduation/Withdrawal: If your child graduates or is withdrawn from the school, your account access will be deactivated or restricted to an alumni/archived state in accordance with our administrative timelines.
- Data Export: If you wish to save any photos, reports, or messages, we recommend downloading them prior to your child’s last day of attendance.
- Suspension: We have the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms and Conditions, particularly regarding the privacy of other children or abusive behavior toward school staff.
9. Copyright Policy
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by You), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Hoplin Preschool and its licensors. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without the express written permission of the school.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Hoplin Preschool be liable for any indirect or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, loss of data or temporary inability to use the Service), even if Hoplin Preschool has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
Hoplin Preschool reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to use the parent portal after revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms.
